The New AVID Pro Tools Hybrid HDX Engine - Discussion

An in depth discusion with Avid's Francois Quereuil around the news of the new Hybrid HDX Engine for Pro Tools - which effectively integrates native processing power with the zero latency of the HDX DSP. This does several things, even on a single card HDX DSP system, the track count is significantly increased from up to 768 to 2048, the latency can be managed automatically and zero latency recording can be enabled by putting a track into DSP mode which then uses the HDX DSP.
